BloodSTOP iX is a natural, biocompatible, hypoallergenic, and non-animal based styptic similar to traditional gauze. To produce a highly absorbent, hydrophilic, water-soluble and bioresorbable matrix, cotton cellulose is oxidized and etherized using a patented recipe. In intraoral wound treatment, BloodSTOP iX ensures rapid absorption of blood and exudates and turns into a gel-like substance that seals the wound with a transparent protective layer. BloodSTOP iX actively supports blood clotting and promotes wound healing. The clear gel surface simplifies monitoring of hemostasis, allowing the clinician to focus on the patient without fear of accidental bleeding.
